Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 DOE

Winsearch are looking to speak with experienced logistics and transport professionals across the Humber region for a confidential opportunity within a fast-paced operational environment.

This role would suit someone with a strong background in logistics management, transport operations, import/export activity, third-party haulage, shipping documentation, stock movements and wider supply chain coordination.

The successful candidate will be confident managing day-to-day logistics activity, working closely with external providers and internal teams to ensure goods are moved efficiently, accurately and in line with business requirements.

Key responsibilities may include:

• Managing logistics, transport and supply chain activity
• Coordinating domestic and international transport movements
• Working with third-party haulage and logistics providers
• Supporting import and export movements
• Liaising with external logistics partners, suppliers, hauliers and internal departments
• Ensuring transport, shipping and compliance documentation is accurate
• Monitoring service levels, delivery performance and operational KPIs
• Supporting stock movements and goods flow across operational areas
• Identifying issues and helping improve logistics processes
• Communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders
• Supporting wider operational planning and continuous improvement

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience within logistics, transport, import/export or supply chain operations
• A good understanding of transport operations and third-party haulage
• Working knowledge of shipping, export, import or compliance documentation
• Strong attention to detail when dealing with paperwork and service levels
• Experience within manufacturing, production, distribution, FMCG or another fast-paced operational environment
• Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
• Confidence managing external providers and internal priorities
• A proactive approach and the ability to work well under pressure
• A full UK driving licence would be advantageous
