The Role – Class 1 Tramper Driver

We are recruiting HGV Class 1 Tramper Drivers in Scunthorpe (DN15) for ongoing tramping work. This role involves UK-wide RDC deliveries and collections, using modern units and trailers.

No handballing is required – clean, organised work with consistent routes each week.

Pay & Shift Details

• £210 per day (with holiday pay included)

• £25 Night Out Allowance

• 5 on 3 off OR 4 on 4 off shift patterns

• Ongoing, year-round HGV Class 1 work

Key Responsibilities

• Class 1 RDC deliveries and collections

• UK-wide driving

• Tramping (nights out in the truck)

• Completing vehicle checks and paperwork

• Safe, compliant operation at all times

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence

• Minimum 6 months Class 1 experience post-test

• Digital Tachograph Card & Driver CPC

• Experience with RDC, trunking, tramping or long-distance Class 1 driving beneficial

• Reliable, professional, good communication skills
