Winsearch UK is currently working with an online retailer of cosmetic products to appoint a Technical Operator, on a temporary to permanent basis.

Technical Operator

The Role:

The role requires a Technical Operator with experience of working within a busy production facility, where you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance works, machine changeovers and, maintain facilities. Ideally, the successful Technical Operator will also hold a valid FLT Licence.

Key responsibilities include:

• Setting up the production lines and maintaining the running line while in use.
• Ensuring machines speeds are consistent to meet required targets
• Performing regular cleaning of machines and equipment.
• Maintain the maintenance documents.
• Monitor and arrange routine maintenance internal or external. 
• Taking inventory of maintenance supplies and notifying the Supervisor of low or depleted supplies.
• Promptly responding to requests for emergency repairs and clean-ups.
• Ensuring that all maintenance equipment is in good working order.
• Follow company procedures including Health & Safety
• Ensure GMP guidelines are followed
• Follow company Health & Safety guidelines and Environmental policies.
• Work with the Operations Team filling and packing once maintenance is complete.

  Qualifications and Requirements

• Proven general maintenance experience.
• FLT License is preferred.
• The ability to safely operate hand and power tools as well as cleaning equipment.
• The ability to lift heavy objects.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Good hand-eye coordination.
