Job Title: Business Development Manager – Luxury Paper Packaging
Location: Manchester
Salary: Up to £50,000 DEO plus commission
Hours : Monday to Friday 8.00am – 4.30pm

We are looking to recruit an experienced Business Development Profession. You will be responsible for pure new client acquisition throughout the UK. You must be able to proficiently express an ability to close new business from scratch, from cold introduction to ongoing management and growth of active client accounts. Performance will be rewarded.

The Candidate

• Sales experience from a manufacturing background in luxury paper packaging is ideally.
• You must have at least 2 years’ experience in a paper packaging manufacturer.
• Ideal background would be selling into high end drinks/cosmetics/confectionary market etc.
• You must be able to demonstrate high proficiency in the full sales cycle and maintain a consistently high rate of activity.
• Highly skilled at cold calling, consultative selling and closing.
• Have experience in B2B account management.
• You must be self-disciplined, shrewd and tenacious.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Professional and confident communicator.

Key Responsibilities

• Generating own leads from scratch in line with overall business strategy
• Mapping your market and developing your patch.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with your clients
• Cold introductions that consistently convert to new business meetings
• Attending regular client meetings.
• Attending Trade shows in the UK and Europe.
• Selling a broad portfolio of luxury paper packaging solutions to premium brands either directly or indirectly.
• Liaising with internal teams regularly to consulting on structural engineering, print specifications, estimating and submitting quotes.
• Closing new business
