Assembly Operative – Temp to Perm Opportunity | Chesterfield (S41)

We’re on the lookout for a hands-on Assembly Operative to join a growing production team based in Chesterfield. If you're practical, detail-focused, and take pride in precision, this role could be the perfect fit.

Location: Chesterfield, S41 Working Hours:

• Monday: 6:00am – 3:30pm

• Tuesday to Friday: 6:00am – 3:00pm Weekly Hours: 44.5 hours per week Pay Rate: £12.50 per hour Contract Type: Temp to Perm

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble frames and door components

• Install hardware including hinges, locks, and glass

• Use hand and power tools to complete the assembly process

• Work with composite materials safely and efficiently

• Ensure all finished products meet strict quality standards and correct dimensions

• Identify and resolve defects during the assembly process

• Follow health and safety procedures at all times while operating machinery and handling materials

Who We're Looking For:

• Good practical skills and mechanical awareness

• Ability to follow instructions and technical drawings

• Proactive approach to problem-solving

• Experience in a similar assembly or manufacturing environment is beneficial but not essential
