Toyota Manufacturing UK is actively recruiting motivated individuals to join our exceptional team as Production Operatives at our cutting-edge engine manufacturing plant situated in Deeside, North Wales. Renowned as a prominent industry leader, we proudly make engines for the Toyota Corolla, while also serving as the global supplier for the highly acclaimed Toyota Corolla Touring Sports. Our state-of-the-art facility in Deeside specializes in the production of innovative hybrid & non- hybrid engines, cementing our commitment to sustainable automotive technology.

Job Responsibilities:

Join our production team and contribute to the manufacturing of hybrid engines.

Work in one of our main production areas, including Casting, Machining, Assembly, or Internal Logistics.

Operate within the production line, performing specific manufacturing processes and ensuring consistent quality.

Take ownership of improving the condition of your assigned process.

Actively participate in raising and implementing improvement ideas to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Job Benefits:

Competitive salary:

£14.55 per hour on days and nights pattern (£29,580 per annum), or £15.42 per hour on 3 shifts (£31,349 per annum).

Hours of Work:

39-hour per week contract.

Day and Night Shifts: 07:30 to 15:48 & 20:30 to 04:48.

3 Shifts: 06:00 to 14:08, 14:00 to 22:08, 22:00 to 06:08.

A 15-minute briefing prior to the start of your shift is mandatory.

Overtime:

Overtime is available and paid at a premium rate.

For the first two hours, overtime is paid at Time and 1/3.

Thereafter, overtime is paid at Time and a half.

Requirements:

Ability to follow standardised work and maintain consistent quality in every task.

Strong attendance record and reliability.

Flexibility to work overtime when required.

Physical capability to perform manual work.

Training:

No formal qualifications are required as we give full training.

Successful candidates will undergo a comprehensive one-week induction program to learn the necessary skills for the production line.

Additionally, you will receive a 4-week ramp-up plan, including training by experienced Toyota team members, to further enhance your abilities.
